Crews operated alongside multiple other departments to help bring the fire under control. Great job by Morris Township Fire Department, Morris Township FMBA Local 70 and everyone else involved!

“The show must go on!!”
Earlier this morning the members of Morristown FMBA Local 43 responded to the staging area for the Morris County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade for wires down on Wharton Fire Department‘s fire engine (not their fault). Members worked with Morristown DPW and JCP&L to mitigate the hazard and free the parade staging area back up for parade participants!! Great job by all involved!

Wishing you all a joyous St. Patrick’s Day Parade and please wave to Ladder 1 when it goes by in the parade!!

🚒 Help Our Firefighters Help You 🚒

As the storm comes to an end, we ask Morristown residents and businesses to please take a moment to clear snow and ice from fire hydrants near your home or business.

In an emergency, every second counts. A hydrant that’s buried or blocked can delay firefighters when time matters most — and that delay can put lives and property at risk.

Clearing a hydrant is a small act that can make a big difference for your family, your neighbors, and our first responders.

Thank you for helping keep Morristown safe and for supporting the firefighters who serve our community. ❄️🔥
