Hillside Hose Company No. 1 Hillside hose company #1 is one of five fire companies that make up the Morris Township Fire Department.

Located on western avenue the hillside hose company has been serving and protecting the community for almost 100 years.

🚒 Hillside firefighters will be escorting Santa on the fire truck across our area, including: Wheatsheaf, Foster Fields, Burnham Park/Hillcrest, Rolling Hill/Skyline, Mountainside/Molly Stark/Brookfield Way.

🎄 We are unable to take requests for special/party visits at this time.

Happy Thanksgiving from the volunteers of !

Here’s a photos from Hillside’s archives: One particularly hot summer day, Hillside volunteers brought the engine to cool off turkeys at the old turkey farm located a block away on Center Ave. While the farm and turkeys are long gone, Hillside is still here to serve , no matter what the call is!

This year, Morris Township recognized Hillside members Donald Morong, Sr, David Ragucci, and Keith McConnell as part of their Veterans Day services.

They now have banners, along with Rob Longo and Charlie Arteglier.
