Hi everyone,
Please don’t blame us… this one is coming straight from the National Weather Service. They have issued a Tornado Watch for portions of New Jersey, including Morris County, which is currently in effect until 7:00 PM.
As if that wasn’t enough excitement for a Monday, they also added a Wind Advisory in effect until 2:00 AM Tuesday, with gusts that could reach up to around 50 mph.
This might be a good time to take a quick look outside and make sure any lawn or deck furniture that recently came out to enjoy the nice weather is tucked away so it doesn’t decide to take a tour of the neighborhood. Patio umbrellas, lightweight chairs, and loose items can easily become airborne in winds like this.
We will continue to monitor the situation and pass along any updates if needed.

TRASH & RECYCLING COLLECTION SERVICE CANCELED MON, FEB 23

Dear Residents,

Due to the forecasted inclement weather on Monday, February 23, 2026, the Department of Public Works has canceled trash, recycling, and large metal and appliance collection. The revised collection schedule is as follows:

Monday, February 23: Canceled
Tuesday, February 24: Monday trash and recycling collection
Wednesday, February 25: Tuesday trash and recycling collection
Thursday, February 26: Wednesday trash and recycling collection
Friday, February 27: Thursday trash and recycling collection

If you scheduled a large metal or appliance pickup, it will be rescheduled for the following day; however, if weather conditions turn out to be worse than predicted, it will be collected by the end of the week.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation. For your convenience, the Recycling Depot located on Jane Way is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 1:45 PM.
