Public Comment Opportunity!
Morris County and its communities have updated the 2020 Multi-Jurisdictional Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan, ensuring that Morris County municipalities remain eligible to receive certain types of federal mitigation funding to reduce hazard risk. The plan identifies natural hazards and vulnerabilities, assesses risk, and identifies mitigation initiatives to reduce or eliminate future losses resulting from those hazards. This survey provides an opportunity for you to share your opinions and participate in the mitigation planning process. A significant component of the mitigation planning process is to ensure a final review opportunity for members of the public.
The plan document can be accessed here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Lv0VAKkQewkPRc33AIxd1urnfcbp4z9O/view?usp=sharing
