Today, members of the Morris Township Police Department proudly joined law enforcement officers from across the state in the New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The Torch Run is in done in support of the athletes of the Special Olympics New Jersey. This event helps raise awareness and funds to support year-round sports training and competition opportunities for thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout New Jersey.

We are honored to continue this tradition and stand alongside our fellow law enforcement partners in supporting the incredible athletes who inspire us with their determination, courage, and perseverance.

As many of you may know, the Red Bulls Training facility is now located in Morris Township. This facility is a closed facility on private property. The neighboring residences are also located on private property, with private roadways. During operations from June 1st, through July 19th, the roadways and facility are closed to the public. This means that there no spectators allowed, and traffic will not be permissible for through traffic. The only acceptable use of the roadways are for people accessing the residences within the complex. This facility is a closed site that is not open to the public nor is their access for the public to view. Thank you for your cooperation during this time.

DEA National Takeback Day | Sat April 25th 10am - 2 pm • Prosecutor’s Office and Morris County Sheriff’s Office will collect the discarded prescription drugs and properly destroy them in a safe and non-hazardous manner.

During this event, satellite collection sites will be operating from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., including at the following Morris County locations:
