⚡️ ⛈️ Severe Weather Potential ⛈️ ⚡️

A weak cold front moving through the Ohio River valley will help spark scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon through the evening hours. A few storms may become severe, with damaging winds the main risk, and flash flooding and hail very low risks.

-Most likely hazard is damaging downburst winds from thunderstorms that are strong to severe, lesser risk for significant wind downbursts (>75mph)
-Lightning for outdoor events or missions
-Low risk for hail up to 1 inch, most hail will be sub-severe.
-Low risk for flash flooding due to moist atmosphere.

⛈️Severe Weather possible Friday ⛈️

Severe weather is increasingly possible Friday during the afternoon into the evening with damaging winds as the primary threat.

06/10/2026

We are keeping our eyes on Friday afternoon & evening for the chance at severe weather. Damaging wind gusts will be the main concern as isolated to scattered storms develop ahead of a cold front, but some hail and isolated flooding cannot be ruled out either. Areas along and north of I-40 have the greatest chance at seeing strong to severe storms. Stay tuned for updates!
