Step back in time with these charming vintage slippers from the 1820’s! Donated to the Schuyler-Hamilton house by a long time DAR Morristown Chapter member. These delicate slippers offer a glimpse into the everyday elegance of the past.

Women of the era, like Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, would have worn similar shoes during their lifetimes. Notice the petite size, reflecting the smaller stature typical of many women at the time, along with the beautiful kid leather material.

So many stories and memories like this live on at the Schuyler-Hamilton House! Come discover history one artifact at a time.

Enjoy encampments outside the ballpark and history throughout the concourse and a special surprise after the game with Fireworks!

The Mo'Town Hero banner for Col Jacob Ford Sr - He was one of the lures for Gen Washington to stay in Morristown, as it was where his iron mines and powder mill were. Happy 250th!!
