Friends of Panther Creek State Park Stay up to date on all of the happenings at Panther Creek State Park. Panther Creek is a rustic park located on the Morristown side of Cherokee Lake.

The 1,400 plus acres representing the park consists of mostly wooded, rolling terrain. For more information call the park office at 423-587-7046 or visit Tennessee State Parks Web site. The park is located in the Hamblen County community of Panther Springs, one of the area's oldest settlements. Pioneers from North Carolina and the older Watauga Settlement in East Tennessee arrived at the "Springs"

around 1784. Prior to this time, this land was considered part of the Great Cherokee Hunting Grounds and deep below the waters of Cherokee Lake lies part of the Great Indian Warpath once followed by Daniel Boone.

While we can't speak for the trees, this chart provides a general guide to help you plan your adventures when foliage is near its peak. Start planning and book your fall getaways at Tennessee State Parks today: tnstateparks.info/Fall25.
