Annual Board Orientation & Training Program 2026 ✨

An inspiring day in the Orangerie Room at Fairleigh Dickinson University. An invaluable opportunity for our Board of Directors to strengthen leadership skills and deepen understanding of fiduciary responsibilities, Robert’s Rules of Order and what it means to be truly boardroom ready.

Together, we aligned on strategy, governance and how to lead with impact and grow our mission.

A special thank you to our Parliamentarian, J.R. Gonzales, for leading such an engaging and insightful program.

Our Annual New Year Kick-Off Reception & Swearing-In Ceremony celebrated our 2026 theme, “The Power of Collective Service.” Held at the Morris County Board of County Commissioners Public Meeting Room in Morristown, it was a beautiful evening of leadership, community and collaboration as we proudly swore in our Board of Directors, Officers, Corporate Advisory Council, Advisors, Legal Counsel and Hope Foundation Directors.

The evening was led by Event Chairwoman Christina V. Field, Chairwoman of the Board, who also performed the National Anthem and delivered her Chairwoman Address. The Oath of Office was administered by The Honorable Maritza Berdote Byrne, J.A.D., Morris County Superior Court Judge. Our Keynote Speaker, J.R. Gonzales, Parliamentarian, Executive Vice-Chair of the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce was also honored with a Recognition Award for his incredible support and guidance to our organization. Tayfun Selen, Morris County Commissioner, led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Thank you Morris County Government for graciously hosting us and for your continued support of our mission. We are grateful to be part of a community that embraces collaboration and service.

Special thank you to our Event Co-Chairs Jose D. Villarreal, Vice-Chairman and Pablo Garita, Director of Community & Government Relations, for helping bring this meaningful evening to life.

Annual Gratitude Reception Dinner 🤍

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world.” — Margaret Mead

An evening dedicated to gratitude, connection, and celebration. We gathered to honor those who serve, lead, and support our Chamber — our Board of Directors, Advisors, Corporate Advisory Council, and Legal Counsel — and to reflect on the incredible year we’ve shared together.

Set in a truly unforgettable space, we enjoyed dinner inside a beautifully restored turn-of-the-century railroad parlor car. These historic Pullman cars, dating back to the 1890s, have been thoughtfully salvaged and transformed into intimate dining rooms, capturing the elegance and romance of the Gilded Age.

A night to pause, appreciate, and celebrate the people who make it all possible.

✨ A Night of Gold ✨

Our Annual Snowball Holiday & Awards Gala was an unforgettable evening, glowing in gold and brilliance as we celebrated our Champions of Growth.

Hosted in the Conservatory at the Madison Hotel, the night brought together an inspiring community of leaders driving business excellence forward.

Led by Event Chair Esperanza Porras-Field, alongside Co-Chairs Jose D. Villarreal and Johanna M. Porras, and committee members Christina Field and Hope Field, the evening was a true reflection of collaboration and vision.

From a moving opening by the Morristown Fire Department Color Guard and Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey to a beautiful National Anthem performed by Michelle Gaves, every moment set the tone for a meaningful celebration.

We were proud to welcome Keynote Speaker Beth Ann Rooney, Director of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, and to recognize outstanding leaders:
• Prestigious Chair’s Award: Hubert Benitez, D.D.S., PhD, President of Saint Peter’s University
• Corporate Advisory Council Chair’s Award: Edward Davis, President of the American School of Business
• Lifetime Achievement Award: Paul Pettigrew, Esq.

We were also honored to welcome distinguished guests:
• Mayor Timothy P. Dougherty, Town of Morristown
• Senator Anthony M. Bucco, 25th Legislative District, NJ
• Rev. Osvaldo Jimenez, American Baptist Church of New Jersey
• Commissioner Director Tayfun Selen, Morris County Board of Commissioners

With a vibrant mariachi performance and a special FIFA World Cup spotlight, the evening was filled with energy, culture and connection.

✨ Congratulations to all of our Business Excellence Award recipients! Your impact continues to inspire our community.
