The Whiteside County real estate tax bills were mailed Friday, May 15th. The 1st installment due date is June 17 and 2nd installment is due Sept 1. If you do not receive your tax bill, you can print your bill at https://whitesideil.devnetwedge.com or call our office at 815-772-5196.

NEW this year!! There is a QR code on the top left corner of your bill that you may scan and will direct you to pay your taxes online! Other payment options are listed on the back of your bill.

REMINDER! If you drop your payment, on the due date, in the post office box outside, it is possible it will NOT be postmarked that day! You will need to go inside to have the post office stamp your envelope that day.

If you have questions regarding your tax bill, please call our office and we can direct your question to the appropriate office. We are here to help and answer as best as we can.

If you recently purchased a home, please call our office to make sure you receive the tax bill.

Failure to receive your tax bill or receiving one late, for any reason, will not relieve the tax payer from paying taxes or late penalties. Please call if you do not receive your bill.

Mobile home tax bills have been mailed and are due June 1st, 2026. Please contact the office if you do not receive your bill.

Real estate taxes are soon upon us! The tax bills have NOT been mailed. Just some quick reminders.

* If you have moved but still own property in Whiteside County, please update your mailing address! We don't know you've moved!

* If you are buying a home in this time frame, PLEASE, check to see who is paying the taxes due this year! Tax bills are not available at this time so you may have received a credit. It is possible the tax bill will not be mailed to you but to the original owner. I cannot emphasize this enough. Please contact our office with any questions.

* Please know the mailing system can be delayed a couple days for your post marked envelope. If you mail your check on the due date and drop it in the post box, it is possible it will NOT be postmarked that day. We have multiple other ways to pay your taxes.

Today is the last day to pay real estate taxes with a credit/debit card. After today, acceptable forms of payment are cashier's check or money order. NO PERSONAL or BUSINESS CHECKS! You may also come to the office and pay with cash. We will need your payment by Wednesday Nov 5th to avoid tax sale. Please call our office with any questions. 815-772-5196
