This sounds promising.

A bold new study reveals an injectable silica-scaffold vaccine that may dramatically reduce or even prevent MRSA infections associated with medical implants. This novel approach trains the immune system at the implant site, aiming to stop infections before they take hold.

MRSA Tips from the Founder of MRSA Survivors Network

This winter there are more deadly, virulent viruses lurking around than most winters and if you are like me with an immunocompromised System from having MRSA infections and taken a lot of antibiotics over the years, then this helpful tip might help you.

1. Continue to wash your hand when you have been out in public and continue to sanitize frequently touched surfaces in your home and place of work.

2. Wear a mask out in public to help you not breathe in viruses and when you get home or in your vehicle, spray your nostrils with a saline wash which you can get at any pharmacy or store. If you have had people over to your home, spray your nostrils with saline wash also after they have left.

These measures can help you prevent from getting a virus and a cold.

If you would like to donate to MRSA Survivors Network and help us increase our outreach, please go to our website: http://www.mrsasurvivors.org and hit the Donate button at the top. We are thankful and in gratitude for your support in helping with our mission.

Sincerely.

So many therapies and drugs have been developed, but failed to stop MRSA, but I am glad that universities and companies keep trying. The problem is that MRSA (Staph) is so very virulent and can continue to replicate itself.

A research team at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson is developing a drug that works in combination with copper to kill bacteria, including those that cause MRSA, a type of staph infection that is resistant to usual treatments.

Happy New Year to you and your Family and many blessings for you throughout the New Year.
