We are proud and deeply grateful to share that PFLAG Morris/Grundy Area has been named the 2025 Organization of the Year by the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The award was presented at the recent Grundy Economic Development Council and Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner, where community leaders, businesses, and civic organizations gathered to celebrate those making a meaningful difference in our county. Receiving this recognition from such a prominent and respected community institution is an incredible honor for our organization and for the families and individuals we serve.

This recognition belongs to all of you—our volunteers, parents, allies, community partners, and supporters who show up with compassion, courage, and commitment. The work of PFLAG National is about building understanding, supporting families, and making sure LGBTQ+ people in our community know they are not alone. Seeing that work celebrated so warmly by the broader Grundy County community was a powerful reminder that when people come together with empathy and respect, real progress is possible.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you attend meetings, volunteer your time, share resources with families, or simply stand with us in support, you help make this community stronger and more welcoming. We are honored to continue this work together and grateful to everyone who has helped make PFLAG Morris/Grundy Area a source of support, hope, and belonging in our community.
