Come out tonight and support the State 7th 3A Boys Track and Field Champions! There will be a fire truck es**rt into town at approx 7:15pm tonight (5/23). Route is as follows: South down 47 from Black Bear Diner, right on Illinois Ave, North down Liberty St to Rt 6, West on Rt 6, then down Edgewater and Dupont to MGS.

🏆 BRINGING HOME THE HARDWARE! 🏆

What an unforgettable weekend for Morris Track & Field!

This past Saturday, the Braves rolled into Pontiac for the IESA Class 3A Sectionals, squared off against 15 area schools, and absolutely crushed it!

After eight weeks of relentless grinding and fierce competition, our athletes showed up when it mattered most. The Braves walked away with massive personal bests, incredible top finishes, a Sectional title, and a whole squad of State Qualifiers!

🔥 THE KINGS OF THE TRACK 🔥

When the dust settled and the final points were tallied, the Morris Grade School 6th and 7th Grade Boys made sure everyone remembered who they are. They brought the house down and are officially your SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS! 🥇

Massive shoutout to everyone! Every single one of you stepped up, contributed to the team's massive success, and pulled off an incredible achievement. You’ve made your coaches and the entire Morris school community beyond proud!

🚌 NEXT STOP: STATE!

The journey isn't over yet! This weekend, our State Qualifiers are packing their bags and heading out to East Peoria to take on the best of the best at the IESA State Meet.

🔥 THE ROAD TO STATE STARTS NOW! 🔥

Get ready, Morris! This weekend, our unstoppable Morris Braves Track & Field Team is lacing up their spikes, hitting the blocks, and leaving it all on the track at the IESA Class 3A Sectional held at Pontiac High School! 🏃‍♂️💨🏃‍♀️💨

They’ve put in the sweat, the miles, and the daily grind. Now, it’s time to unleash the speed, dominate the field, and stamp their ticket to the IESA State Finals! 🏆

Let’s hear it for our athletes as they chase down those personal records and race toward glory. Leave no doubt out there, team—run fast, jump high, and throw far! We are all cheering you on as you push for the podium.
