With severe weather forecast for later this week, we want to remind everyone to be mindful of the dangers associated with flooding.

Heavy rainfall can quickly overwhelm roadways, low-lying areas, and drainage systems. Flash flooding can occur with little warning, and flooded roads are often deeper and more dangerous than they appear.

Never drive through flooded roadways — Turn Around, Don’t Drown.

Stay weather aware, monitor trusted forecasts, and have a plan in place.
