The Town of Morrill and its fire department staff have received many requests to donate money for Andrew Cross’s family. Donations will be collected at the Morrill town office either by mail, in person, or you can place them in the town office drop box.

Checks can be made payable to the Town of Morrill. Please note if your donation is for the Cross family or Morrill Fire Department. Any unmarked donations will be designated for the Cross family.

To help eliminate possible fraud, please know that the Town of Morrill WILL NOT solicit donations door-to-door or ask verbally on the street. Please be aware of scams collecting donations for any fire department. Donate only to verified organizations.

The town wants to acknowledge and thank everyone for the absolutely incredible outpouring of love. We will announce a fund for the Cross family tomorrow (Monday).

PLEASE JOIN US in honoring our fallen fire fighter. There will be a procession leaving Augusta at 11 a.m. traveling Rt 3 to Searsmont, to Thompson Ridge Rd and almost immediately turning onto Borough Rd/Weymouth Rd to head through Morrill past the Morrill Fire Station then onto Rt 131 heading south to the Hartshorn Rd onto the Robinson School/Banks Rd back to the Poors Mill Rd/Marsh Rd, turning right onto Rt 137 and ending at Riposta's Funeral Home.
