A little sprucing up at happened today. What started out as a painting project quickly turned into taking the old fence down and replacing it because the fence was rotted and not worth saving. Thank you to council members Jakob and Amanda for making this area safer and look much better.

Keep Our Town Beautiful: Reminder City Mowing Rules
As the warmer weather keeps our lawns growing fast, the City reminds all residents and property owners to keep yards mowed and tidy.
Under Ordinance 50.29(9), all properties within city limits-whether occupied, vacant, or empty lots-must be mowed whenever the grass/vegetation reaches a height of 8 inches.
Currently, several properties around town are exceeding this limit. To keep our neighborhoods safe, clean and free of pests and rodents, the City will begin sending formal nuisance letters to property owners who do not comply.
Please take a momnet to look at your yard or any local lots you own, and give them a trim if they are getting tall. Thank you for doing your part to keep our community looking its best!
There are contractors to contact for mowing, if you are unable to do it yourself.
