The 95th Annual Battelle District Fair did not disappoint. It’s always a pleasure when we get to make it out to the western end of Mon County! We enjoyed visiting with our Clay Battelle friends and appreciated the warm welcome. The fair food was a plus and the new barn is a must see. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation. I want to thank the voters of Monongalia County for putting their faith in me and honoring me with their votes. My heart is centered in public service, and I am thrilled about using my experience to serve our community as Judge. Thank you to both Judge Scudiere and Michael Simms for an extended and hard fought campaign. I am incredibly grateful for my friends and family who stood by me every step of the way. We have come a long way since 2016, and I look forward to serving my home county as Judge.

Interesting how life often prepares you in ways you never quite expect. As many of you know, I have been a practicing Attorney in Mon County for 25 years. My last three years, however, have been spent working in the WVU Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion where I have learned so much.

When life experiences lead to a balanced perspective, there is much to be gained, especially when that knowledge is used to make fair and equitable rulings from the Bench.
