Kirk Street is currently open following earlier repairs. Crews will return Friday to complete work in the area where the leak occurred.

This requires that Kirk Street be closed:

📍 Kirk Street (between High Street and Spruce Street, near Hastings Funeral Home)
During this time, Kirk Street will be closed again as crews continue repairing a water main break.

🔧 The area will be temporarily cold patched, with permanent paving scheduled at a later date.

Kirk Street will be closed between High Street and Spruce Street (near Hastings Funeral Home) on Tuesday, June 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. while crews repair a water main break.

🛠️ The area will be temporarily cold patched, with permanent paving to follow at a later date.

🚧 Road Closure Alert - Water Street 🚧

Beginning Wednesday, June 10, Morgantown Utility Board will close Water Street at its intersection with Fayette Street near the river.

The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately 90 days while crews complete repairs to the Monongahela River interceptor sewer line. Updates will be provided as work progresses.
