Does your student need reliable internet access for school?

T-Mobile’s Project 10Million helps eligible K–12 students stay connected by providing access to the internet for learning, homework, and educational opportunities.

Your student may qualify for Project 10Million if they participate in ONE of the following programs and can provide proof of enrollment dated within the last year:

• National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/EBT)
• Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)
• Medicaid
• Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)

Internet access can help students complete assignments, participate in online learning, conduct research, and stay connected to educational resources both at school and at home.

Check your eligibility today and help your student stay connected to the tools they need for success!

🚨Recall alert🚨

Please stop use and reach out to Target for refund options.

Target is voluntarily recalling some of their Up & Up brand baby wipes due to potential contamination.

According to a Target announcement shared by the Food and Drug Administration, the company said it received complaints about the wipes getting discolored.

After testing by the FDA, some product samples contained the presence of Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli bacteria, naturally occurring bacteria that can cause illness in humans and pose a higher risk to children.

We are super happy to announce that today marks the launch of the West Virginia WIC Breastfeeding Support Hotline, operated by Appalachian Breastfeeding Network! This hotline is available 24/7 for West Virginians -- focusing on WIC participants, but available to all West Virginians! This hotline also has an in-house referral team built in - IBCLCs, RDs, and Mental Health Specialists (PMH-Cs) are available to speak with callers as needed. If you know of anyone in WV that could benefit from this hotline, please pass it along!

Today we celebrate the International Day of Families. This year's theme is "Families, Inequalities and Child Wellbeing."

Child Wellbeing and equal access to rights like healthcare and education are high on the priority list for families of children with disabilities and/or complex medical needs.

The Family to Family (F2F) and Paths for Parents (P4P) programs at the WVU CED are two programs that work together to serve children and families with special healthcare needs in West Virginia. They offer mentoring programs that provide peer-to-peer support, connections to resources, support groups, parent/caregiver education courses, and self-advocacy coaching. Not to mention multiple free podcast episodes available that highlight the experiences of families and caregivers.
