I could not be more proud to be a student at West Virginia University, and to have the opportunity to help West Virginians in need. It's a blessing to be a Mountaineer.

I can honestly say that I am truly blessed to live in a state with people so caring, kind, compassionate, and empathetic as those who live in our great Mountain State.

I am amazed at the outpouring of love from Mountaineer Nation toward our brothers and sisters across the state who are suffering right now from the horrific flooding.

This weekend, I was privileged to spend my time collecting donations with WVU to take to the victims and survivors in Southern WV. Today, I was blessed with the opportunity to take WVU's first shipment of donations to Clay County High School, which provided food, water, and other supplies to so many desperate West Virginians. While down south today, I took the time to tour different areas and witnessed the devastation firsthand.

We all are truly blessed to have what we've been given. It is an honor to represent our great University and be afforded the chance to give back to the community and state that has given so much to me.

We will not waver, and we will not rest, until every Mountaineer is taken care of.

Yesterday, I emailed this letter to WVU President Gee; Provost McConnell; Vice President Fryson, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Vice President Schafer, Student Life; and Associate Vice President & Dean Farris, Student Life. I subsequently hand-delivered individualized letters to each administrator's respective office by noon. Over twenty-four hours later, I have had no official response. The time for action is now.
