Caernarvon Township, Berks Co. The Township officially dates back to 1752, the same year Berks County was established.

Caernarvon is a Welsh word, based on Caer Yr Arfon - "Fort (Caer) on the River (Arfon)." As with so many places between Philadelphia and Lancaster, the area was first settled by the hardy Welsh. To them, the rolling hills and flowing streams reminded them of their beautiful homeland.

Come join us Tonight (Friday, June 12th) at the Morgantown Carnival for Bad Medicine: Bon Jovi Tribute Band! Carnival opens at 6pm.

Post up in the grass with your chairs and blankets, grab dinner and a beverage, ride some rides, play some games, and check out all the great vendors!

Don't leave early! Tonight is night one of an amazing fireworks show! The weather is looking perfect for the show, you don't want to miss this!

Due to the inclement weather, the Morgantown Carnival made the difficult decision to cancel tonight, June 10th.

There will be three more days of fun ahead! Be sure to check out the entertainment lineup for the remaining days. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of music, delicious food and drinks, rides, games, and so much more!

Residents and motorists should expect crews working on the following streets: Red Hill Road, Mill Road, Twin Valley Road and Moreview Blvd. The contractor has not advised where they intend to start so monitor social media and Savvy Citizen for more information .
