In addition, we also act as the County's GIS mapping office and its permitting office. PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Calhoun County Board of Commissioners and the City of Edison would like to inform residents and motorists of an upcoming roadway improvement project on Edison/Bluffton Road.

This project will include road widening and a full resurfacing of Edison/Bluffton Road and is mostly funded through the County and City's TSPLOST program. These improvements are part of ongoing efforts to enhance roadway safety, traffic flow, and overall infrastructure within the community.

At this time, an exact project start date has not been determined.
Please be advised that once construction reaches the City of Edison’s portion of the roadway, there will be a temporary road closure. During this period, a detour route will be established to assist motorists in navigating around the work zone.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area, follow posted signage, and plan for possible delays once construction begins.

The Calhoun County Board of Commissioners and the City of Edison appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed.
