The City Council has asked City Manager Steve Rymer to add $35,000 to the 2013-2014 budget proposal for the El Toro Youth Center.. (not approved yet)

HOW IS THIS EVEN A QUESTION WHEN YOU'RE SPEDING OVER 1 MILLION DOLLARS ON A NEW CITY COUNCIL AND JUST ASKED FOR $235,000 MORE!

City Council approves $34,500 of our tax money to provide litigation support services for the Butterfield Boulevard South Extension project.

This means the city is using our tax money to take someone to court and "legally" steal their land. All so they can extend butterfield to Watsonville Road? Really? Ok.. who has development land wait? a city council or chamber member? never! not in MH.

The city remains committed to its downtown specific plan approved in 2008, which envisions a lively downtown with plenty of retail, dining and entertainment options, an abundant supply and wide variety of housing choices, and easy access for pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and public transportation users.
