What a great morning at our Legislative Session Recap Breakfast!
A heartfelt thank you to Senator Robert Allain, Representative Beryl Amedee, and Representative Vincent "Vinny" St. Blanc for joining us and providing invaluable insight into the 2026 Legislative Session!

We are incredibly grateful for the way our legislative delegation continues to work together for the betterment of St. Mary Parish. Their teamwork, advocacy, and commitment to our communities have helped secure funding and support for projects that strengthen our infrastructure, drive economic development, enhance education, improve public safety, and elevate the quality of life for our residents.

We were especially encouraged to hear about the successful efforts to secure funding for every request submitted by our local fire and police departments. That level of support speaks volumes about the dedication these leaders have to protecting and serving the people of St. Mary Parish.

This is for the sensory friendly movies only.
Feature 1 will play on Wednesday at 1:00 PM and Feature 2 will play Thursday at 11:00 AM.
This will be played in a total separate theater from the regular scheduled summer movies that will have the normal theatrical volume and lighting.

After lots of request we have decided to move forward with sensory friendly summer movies!!

Sweet Tangerines Boutique Grand Re-opening! 🟠✂️

This morning, we had the pleasure of celebrating the Ribbon Cutting and Re-Grand Opening of Sweet Tangerines Boutique with owners Abigail and Rhi at their new location, 850 Marguerite Street in Morgan City.

Some businesses have personality. Some businesses ARE personality!

From the moment you walk through the door, it's impossible not to feel their energy. Their creativity, passion, and infectious personalities are woven into every detail of the shop, creating a space that is welcoming, fun, and uniquely them.

Small businesses are built on more than products and inventory...they're built on dreams, determination, and the people brave enough to bring their vision to life. Abigail and Reid have done exactly that, and it was an honor to celebrate this exciting milestone alongside them.

☕ What a brew-tiful way to start our Saturday!

This morning, we had the pleasure of celebrating the official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Two Sisters Brew with owners Chelsea and Jacob Lansdow.

What started in a travel trailer has officially brewed into something even bigger. Today marks an exciting new chapter as they put down business roots in Morgan City and continue serving up the coffee, teas, treats, and friendly smiles their customers have come to love!

We are grateful they chose to invest in our community and wish them continued success as they grow their business.
