Bayou L'Ourse Volunteer Fire Department Volunteer Fire department aimed to provide fire and medical rescue for the community of Bayou L'Ourse.

Interested in joining, meetings are held first Tuesday of each month.

The 9/11 walk on September 12th at 9 AM will be approximately 3.5 miles starting at the fire station a located at 333 Hwy 663 Morgan City,La 70380 and ending back at the fire station. We will have refreshments and food for after the walk. The walk should take approximately 1.5 hours to complete. Please let Chief Stephen or Asst. Chief Shawn know if you would like to participate and how many so we can get a head count so we can make sure we get enough refreshments and food.

As a first responder we unfortunately meet people on their absolute worse day and sometimes during horrific and tragic events. So it is always great to hear that the long hours of training is useful and appreciated, When we recieve messages like the one in the photos, it make what we do worth it and keeps our drive going.
