Calling all chefs! Help support the Friends of the Moretown Community Library support us!

For the Friends of the Library, Morefest just wouldn't be Morefest without our delicious Mac 'n Cheese Fundraiser! 🧀 We're looking for volunteer chefs to help make this year's feast a success. If you're willing to whip up a pan of your favorite mac 'n cheese, please sign up now so we can plan accordingly.

We'll take care of the bowls, utensils, and serving. All you need to do is bring your best cheesy creation and be ready to share it!

Best of all, proceeds help support the Moretown Community Library and the programs, services, and resources that make it such an important part of our community.

A new story just in time for the start of school!

A new story hits the StoryWalk®, just in time for the first day of school in Moretown! Come on down to the Moretown Rec Fields to enjoy Nell Plants a Tree by author Anne Wynter, illustrated by Daniel Miyares.

In this story, a young girl named Nell plants a seed. As it grows into a large pecan tree, Nell also advances in age and becomes a grandmother. The text alternates between her experiences as a young girl, and her delight in watching her grandchildren play in and around this special tree.

The book ends with Nell showing her granddaughter how to plant her own seed that
may one day contribute to the memories and experiences of future generations.

Stop by the library and share your thoughts on the book and your experience walking
the trail around the StoryWalk®. And thank you to the many donors to the Friends of the Library, whose generosity makes the StoryWalk® possible.
