🇺🇸 A Legacy of Service. A Lifetime of Impact. ✈️
Dedicated to mission. Committed to excellence.
On July 12, March Air Reserve Base honored Col. Biren Oberoi during a retirement ceremony recognizing more than 25 years of distinguished service to the United States Air Force.
As deputy commander of the 452nd Air Mobility Wing, Col. Oberoi helped lead the Air Force Reserve’s largest wing, supporting more than 4,000 Airmen while enabling worldwide airlift and air refueling operations. A command pilot with more than 3,700 flying hours, including 1,400 combat hours, his leadership strengthened the mission and advanced partnerships across the organizations where he served.
During the ceremony, Col. Oberoi received the Legion of Merit, recognizing a career of exceptionally meritorious service and outstanding leadership. Surrounded by family, friends and fellow Airmen, he was also presented the American flag and retirement certificate in recognition of his distinguished military career.
Military retirements mark more than the conclusion of a career, they honor decades of service, sacrifice and dedication while recognizing the unwavering support of the families who stand beside our Airmen every step of the way.
Please join us in congratulating Col. Biren Oberoi on his retirement and thanking him and his family for their years of dedication, sacrifice and service to our nation. We wish them continued success in this next chapter.
🇺🇸 Thank you for your leadership. Thank you for your service. Congratulations, Colonel! 🫡🎖️
