Draft STIP Open for Comment!

The draft STIP includes federally funded projects of all sizes over the next four years, from megaprojects like the I-69 Ohio River Crossing in Western Kentucky and the Mountain Parkway Expansion project in Eastern Kentucky to countless local road and bridge projects. Public transportation, aviation and federal programs to fund projects that reduce traffic congestion and air pollution are also included.

📢 Important Update: Program

Due to ongoing funding shortfalls, the Gateway Area Development District's MotorMeals program will be indefinitely suspended effective August 1, 2026.

Since its launch in 2023, MotorMeals, GADD's mobile food truck that travels to a different community and county each weekday, has delivered more than 14,000 hot, nutritious meals to older adults throughout Bath, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, and Rowan counties. Beyond providing meals, the program has created meaningful opportunities for connection and outreach to seniors across the Gateway region.

MotorMeals participants are encouraged to enjoy lunch and fellowship at their local senior center. Those who are unable to attend may qualify for Home Delivered Meals. To learn more, please contact GADD's Aging and Disability Resource Center at 855.882.5307.

GADD extends its sincere gratitude to the seniors, staff, and community partners who made MotorMeals such a meaningful success over the past three years. GADD remains committed to serving older adults throughout the region and will continue advocating for sustainable funding for the Senior Center program.
