Sustainable Morehead has established two community gardens, raised bed community gardens at two housing projects, and has planted trees in several locations within and around the Daniel Boone National Forest. Additionally, SMI has put on events such as the 100 Mile Potluck, classes in gardening, and lectures on environmental issues. A Bike Share program allows anyone who wants to ride a bike the opportunity to ride one and leave it for another to ride back, within the city limits.
