Hello! My name is John Nyberg and I respectfully ask for your support in my campaign for Carteret County Sheriff. Together, we can continue building an agency that honors its past, meets the challenges of the present, and prepares confidently for the future.
Carteret County is my home. It is where I raised my children and where I have spent decades dedicated to protecting and serving. I am running for Sheriff not for a title, but for a purpose- to ensure our county remains a safe, strong, and welcoming place for every resident and visitor.
This campaign is about safety, services, and community. It’s about a Sheriff’s Office that works with you, listens to you, and protects you. It’s about building a county where families feel safe, businesses can thrive, and every resident from Down East to Emerald Isle - knows they matter!
