West Carteret FBLA West Carteret High School - Future Business Leaders of America State advisors and committee members coordinate chapter activities for the national organization.

Future Business Leaders of America is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) education association with a quarter-million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. The association has four divisions:
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) for high school students
FBLA-Middle Level for junior high, middle, and intermediate school students
Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) for postsecondary st

udents
Professional Division for business people, FBLA-PBL alumni, educators, and parents who support the goals of the association

FBLA-PBL is organized on local, state, and national levels. Business teachers, advisors, and advisory councils (including school officials, business people, and community representatives) guide local chapters. FBLA-PBL is the largest business career student organization in the world. The high school division has 215,000 members and the newest group, the Middle Level has nearly 15,000 student members. There are more than 11,000 advisors worldwide.

We are going September 23-25. $200.00 Covers Hotel, Transportation, Park Ticket, and Meal ticket. We have VERY limited seating this year. register today with Hensley, Kauffman or Thompson!

The Officers hosted the FBLA Central Region Competitive Events on Saturday, November 20.

The following WCHS FBLA members competed and placed in the competitive events.

-Adam Cummings - 1st Place - Business Communication
-Davis Starling - 1st Place - Business Calculations
-Rob Cummings - 1st Place - Networking Infrastructure
-Moksh Thakore - 1st Place - Spreadsheet Applications
-Worth Stack - 1st Place - Word Processing

These students will now compete in the State Leadership Conference March 23-26 in Greensboro.

The Board of Education took great pride in recognizing and congratulating West Carteret High School students Moksh Thakore and Davis Starling who earned second place in the nation competing in the LifeSmarts Quiz Bowl competitive event at the FBLA National Leadership Conference. Their FBLA Advisor is West Carteret High School Business Teacher Mark Thompson.
