Don’t forget to grab your 26-27 sports passes! This is your LAST WEEK to purchase these passes. Please turn in forms and money by Friday, September 11th.

2026-2027 CWMS Sports Passes are on sale now! 🚨

Cheer our Falcons on all year long at a great price! These passes are valid for all regular season HOME athletic events (not including football through BRYFL). Not valid for tournaments, scrimmages, etc. Once received they are non-replaceable and non-transferable.

Adult Season Passes $75

Buy yours today before it’s too late! Passes are only available until September 11th. To purchase, please complete the form that is coming home with your student tomorrow and send cash or a check made out to CWMS Boosters.

These passes will not be sold later in the year & they will not be sold at the beginning of the winter or spring sports seasons. If you want one you must purchase one now.

WE MET ACADEMIC GROWTH, FALCONS! 📈

For the first time in 7 years, our students met academic growth. Simply put, our students are moving forward! This trend has been building for the last 4 years, when we were a D school. Since then, our school report card has been getting stronger, with a 7 point increase showing this past school year. We are now 5 points from a B. This is all due to our resilient, hard working learners, and the consistent teaching and coaching from our teachers and staff members.

We want to thank families and students for two things - taking academics seriously, and for retesting on the EOG when you didn’t do well the first time. At CWMS, we believe that hard work pays off, and trying again on an EOG will always yield better results. These school accountability results prove that.

We are so excited to start our school year in an academically stronger school. The goals are set and the sky is the limit for our Falcons this year! ⭐️

FALCONS WIN 🏆 ⚽️ Our boys soccer team earned a hard-fought win against a well organized Ashe County Middle school team. Congratulations to our boys!

For any parent of a fall sport athlete who is interested in learning how to perform hands only CPR or how to use an AED, please feel free to come to a free training at CWMS on September 10th at 4:00 in the gym. Learn the appropriate steps to use, and practice on manikins so you feel more comfortable with the process.

If interested or if you have any questions, please contact Coach Clonch at [email protected] or reach out to your athletes coach. Please let me know if you plan to attend so I can have an accurate head count and plan accordingly.

On September 11th, we will host a Powderpuff Football game to get our Falcons pumped up for their first game of the season. The Powderpuff Game will be held at CWMS gym from 4:00-5:30. Students and parents can attend for $5.00 admission.

Please come out and support our teams, and watch roles be switched with our Cheerleaders and Football players. Concessions will be sold as well.
