Grab a chair and join us on Thursday June 18, 2026, at 6:30pm at Library Park for this week’s Music in the Park concert featuring “Gentleman Dreadnought” sponsored by Kanabec County Better Together Coalition. Make sure and stop by and support the sponsors that bring you Music in the Park in Mora. Without them we would not have these 12 free concerts. Thank you again to Kanabec County Better Together Coalition for your support and for all that you do for our community.

Gentlemen Dreadnought is an exciting acoustic duo composed of Derek Johnson (Monroe Crossing) and Clint Birtzer (The High 48s). Started as a side project in 2018, Gentlemen Dreadnought has been steadily refining their act as they play shows throughout the upper midwest. Whether picking out blazing bluegrass numbers, singing heartbreaking classic country songs, or harmonizing on traditional gospel tunes, these two established and seasoned musicians put on a great show in any setting.

**Mora Municipal Utilities Power Update-4:25 pm 6/10/26**
All power is back up and running at this time. Please call the utilities phone number at 679-1451 if you are still without power.
Staff would like to thank all customers for their patience and understanding during this event.

While weather is everchanging, addressing outages at MMU is based on the area affected at that time. Staff does its best to methodically work through areas to ensure power can be restored safely. These actions involve manpower and staff "walking" the line to make sure all lines are safe to energize. Please understand that power lines may look fine in your area but are compromised further down the connecting line and need to be cleared to restore power, taking time that is not understood due to the safety checks done.

Thank you for being a customer and thank you for your patience and understanding during these unplanned weather caused outages.
