Stopped by Alsager Meats in Audubon today.

As I'm writing this, I'm crushing a jalapeño cheddar beef stick and seasoning some thick-cut ribeyes for the grill. It doesn't get much better than that.

COVID taught us that local matters. When supply chains struggled, communities with strong local agriculture and meat processing options were better positioned to keep food on the table.

We're fortunate to have multiple meat lockers in our region. They support local ranchers, create jobs, strengthen our economy, and give us access to high-quality local products.

The time has come for our first fundraiser. This is for MINNESOTA residents ONLY! As long as you are a MN resident the state has a program that allows you to get REIMBURSED FOR YOUR DONATION to a political party for up to $75 a person. The goal is to get at least 50 people to donate before July 1st. Why is this so important, because if I meet this goal it will unlock an additional $5000 in funds. Minnesotans are tired of reading headline after headline about fraud, waste, and government failures.

For eight years, Keith Ellison has been Minnesota’s Attorney General while billions of taxpayer dollars have been lost to fraud. Instead of accountability, we’ve gotten excuses.

Minnesota deserves an Attorney General who will enforce the law, protect taxpayers, support law enforcement, and restore trust in government.

It’s time for a change.

Another great moment from the Hawley parade was getting a photo with these two young ladies, twin sisters with their whole future ahead of them.

When I think about why I'm running, a big reason is because of kids, I want Minnesota to be a place where our young people have every opportunity to succeed. Whether that's through great schools, good-paying jobs, affordable housing, or the chance to start a business and build a life.

Too many of our graduates feel like they need to leave Minnesota to find opportunity. We should be creating a state that gives them every reason to stay, raise a family, and build their future right here at home.

The decisions we make today will shape the Minnesota these young people inherit tomorrow. Just another reason why I'm running.
