..STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN SUNFLOWER...LEFLORE AND NORTH CENTRAL HUMPHREYS COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 918 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Blaine, or near Ruleville, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near... Sunflower and Blaine around 925 PM CDT. Schlater around 930 PM CDT. Itta Bena around 935 PM CDT. Greenwood and Quito around 945 PM CDT.

To the citizens of Moorhead. I am happy to announce that the City of Moorhead has had a change in public fire protection classification. The City of Moorhead has changed from a Class 8 to a Class 7. This could help with individual property fire insurance rates. The Moorhead Volunteer Fire Department strives to be the best it can to provide the best service to the citizens in and around Moorhead and will continue to do so.
