Think you’ve got a great arm? A powerful swing? Speed around the bases? Come show it off!

Join us this Friday (June 5) from 5–7 pm at Newman Outdoor Field for the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run event hosted by the Moorhead Police Department and Moorhead Police Athletics and Activities League.

This FREE competition is open to all kids age 7-14 — you don’t have to live in Moorhead to join the fun. It’s a great chance to get on the field, try something fun, and challenge yourself. Event winners will be invited to the FM RedHawks game on Tuesday, June 9, where they’ll be recognized on field and receive awards.

Registration is open now at moorheadpal.org for the 20th Annual Cops and Kids hockey game! This free event is a fun way for youth hockey players to meet and play against area law enforcement to build positive relationships and a strong community. Moorhead Police Department

The Moorhead Police Explorer Post is hosting a first nighter event for any students looking to join this year. Exploring is for youth ages 15-20 and provides an opportunity for hands on training in the field of criminal justice. In addition, explorers are allowed up to six ride alongs throughout the year. The training and ride alongs allow students to learn about the law enforcement profession to make a decision on whether this career field is right for them.

The informational meeting is Tuesday, September 16th at 6pm at the Moorhead Police Department. You can pre-register at www.moorheadpal.org

Today our PAL CrossFit Teens group completed their community service project, cleaning up Queens, Townsite and Arrowhead Parks. Following that we did a trip to Thunder Road and the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks Baseball game, where we were the charity of the night. Full day of giving back and celebrating the completion of our summer program! National PAL
