Chorus & Theater Arts

Mooresville Middle School students have several choices for classes in the fine and performing arts. Art, Band, Chorus and Theater classes are offered each semester and allow students to explore avenues of self-expression and collaboration with creative twists.

Chorus students perform throughout the semester, with a final culminating concert near the end of the course. Theater arts students participate in activities to develop a showcase of skills for family members.

Last fall, MGSD fine and performing arts teachers collaborated to create a vision statement which says we are “Inspiring learners to be successful leaders through an appreciation and love of the arts.” Thanks for your help and support along the way as our students attempt to #beBrave and as I encourage them to #GoBeAwesome each and every day!
