This morning, we gathered to remember those Moorestown residents who gave their lives in service to our Country. Their sacrifice and the sacrifices of their families will be remembered and appreciated by this community forever.

This Memorial Day morning, I was honored to join my fellow Council Members — Deputy Mayor Chris Keating, Councilwoman Sue Mammarella, Councilman James Barry, and Councilman Tom Bader and hundreds of Moorestown residents for our 40th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Brandon Pugh. He is a proud Moorestown resident who serves as the Principal Advisor to the Secretary of the Army at the Pentagon. Brandon’s words on the meaning and weight of this day were truly moving.

And a heartfelt thank you as well to the Van Saun Family and all of the incredible organizers who make this beloved tradition possible year after year. And thank you to everyone who came out to reflect, remember, and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

It was a beautiful morning of unity, remembrance, and gratitude in the heart of our town. 🇺🇸

Key rider requirements include:
Licensing
E-bike riders must:

• Be at least 15 years old and obtain a motorized bicycle license
Registration
• All e-bikes must be registered with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC)
Insurance
• E-bike owners are now required to carry liability insurance coverage, similar to motor vehicles
Minimum Age Requirement
• Riders under the age of 15 are not permitted to operate e-bikes with motor assistance

A 6-month grace period is in effect before enforcement and fines begin for registration and insurance.
