If you're concerned about the political divisiveness in our country, check out this PBS documentary/video clip (cameo appearance from Moorestown's Karen Reiner) about Braver Angels, a bi-partisan, grass-roots organization working to depolarize America. They are encouraging people of differing political views to "start a conversation, not a fight."

If you're interested in attending a live (free) workshop, please comment below. I'd be happy to organize one! Workshops and other Braver Angels events are also available over Zoom.

The U.S. is facing a deep crisis of polarization that is threatening our democracy. From the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol to the recent assassination attempt against Donald Trump, we are seeing that the increasingly bitter, ugly language thrown around in American politics has real life con...

We're concerned about the political polarization in our town and our country. Too often, we stereotype, dismiss, or ridicule our fellow citizens who support the other political party, its leaders, and its policies. If you'd like to be part of the solution instead of part of the problem, please join us for a FREE workshop on 3/13 that helps you be aware of your own "inner polarizer," teaches how to express opinions without demonizing, dismissing or stereotyping large swaths of the population and how to to constructively intervene in polarizing social conversations with like-minded people.

Join us at 11 a.m. on Presidents' Day for a 1/2 hour gathering to help bridge the political divide locally and in our country. Regardless of what party we normally vote for, we're members of a community--friends, family & neighbors--who can find common ground and strive for good in our land. We'll sing the National Anthem (led by MTPS Madrigals!) and talk about what we love about our small town and our great nation, then support local businesses by grabbing a coffee or lunch.

This is being organized in partnership with Braver Angels & the Moorestown Theater Company. Special thanks to the Rotary Breakfast Club for providing small flags for each participant.

Display love of country and unity by joining us in Moorestown for a short celebration of our love of country and community.
