Lynn Fanning Elementary's After School Care (ASC) Program will be hosting an ASC Registration Event on Tuesday, June 23!

📅 Date: Tuesday, June 23
⏰ Time: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
📍 Location: Lynn Fanning Elementary School, Cafeteria

To secure your child's spot, students must be fully registered for the 2026-2027 school year and families must submit:
✔️ Completed ASC registration paperwork
✔️ Registration fee
✔️ First week's tuition

Registration Fees:
• $10 – One student
• $15 – Two students (same family/same school)
• $20 – Three or more students (same family/same school)

Weekly Tuition:
• $65 per week for the first student

💵 Cash or check payments will be accepted.

⚠️ Space is limited and enrollment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are not considered enrolled until registration paperwork, the registration fee, and the first week's tuition have been received.

💜💛 Please join us in welcoming Mr. Samuel Walker to the Lynn Fanning Elementary family as our new Assistant Principal! 💜💛

Mr. Walker is honored to serve the LFES community and is excited to return to a place that has played such an important role in his journey as an educator. In many ways, this opportunity feels like coming full circle. Mr. Walker began his career at Lynn Fanning in 2014 as an afterschool care worker, where he first experienced the strong sense of family, support, and commitment to students that makes LFES so special.

Since then, he has served students and families in both Auburn City Schools and Madison County Schools, teaching 2nd, 5th, and 6th grades before most recently serving as Assistant Principal at Meridianville Middle School.

Mr. Walker earned his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Auburn University, his Master of Science in Elementary Education from Troy University, and his Instructional Leadership Certification from the University of West Alabama.

His educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that “everyone can.” He believes that when students are supported, challenged, and truly seen, there is no limit to what they can achieve. Mr. Walker is passionate about building confidence, fostering resilience, and creating a school culture where students, staff, and families feel valued, empowered, and inspired to grow together.

We are excited for the leadership, compassion, and student-centered mindset Mr. Walker will bring to LFES. Please help us give him a warm Panther welcome!
