The Town of Moorefield will be hosting Brush Day on Tuesday, June 2nd from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Bring your brush, limbs, grass clippings, and other natural yard waste. This service is FREE for all Moorefield residents!

The Town of Moorefield is proud to support the Moorefield High School Baseball Team with a $500 sponsorship as they prepare for an exciting season and a special trip to Cooperstown, New York.

Mayor Scott Fawley recently presented the check to Coach Wade Armentrout on behalf of the Moorefield Town Council. This contribution will help support the team’s travel, including their opportunity to play games in New York and visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

We’re honored to invest in our local student-athletes as they build teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.

The Town of Moorefield is proud to highlight a recent visit by Mayor Scott Fawley to Moorefield Elementary School, where second grade students are learning about leadership and the election process.

As part of their classroom reading of Grace for President, students invited Mayor Fawley to speak about how elections work and what it means to serve in public office. During his visit, the Mayor shared insights into the voting process, the responsibilities of local government, and the importance of community involvement.

“It’s always a pleasure to spend time with our students and see their curiosity about how things work,” said Mayor Fawley. “Opportunities like this help build an early understanding of civic responsibility and show students that their voices matter.”

The Town of Moorefield applauds Moorefield Elementary School and its educators for creating learning experiences that connect classroom lessons to the community & for the opportunity to participate. Together we inspire the next generation of leaders.
