🚨Organized Retail Crime Ring Busted🚨
A series of organized retail thefts recently came to an end after officers arrested 5 suspects accused of stealing thousands in gaming electronics from multiple big-box retailers.

Officers learned the suspects were using fraudulent app accounts and fake online orders to obtain game devices, including PlayStation 5 consoles, Nintendo Switch systems, and virtual reality headsets. The same suspects were identified and admitted to traveling to several retail locations in the OKC Metro.

The suspected getaway vehicle was located behind a nearby Dollar Tree, where the additional stolen electronics were recovered.

5 individuals were arrested and face multiple charges, including Grand Larceny, Organized Retail Crime, and Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property, among others.

🚨Traffic Incident: Electric Scooter🚨
One person was transported to the hospital with injuries after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter near SW 19th St. and Telephone Rd. in the Walmart area.

The incident remains under investigation. Drivers and riders alike are reminded when behind the wheel or on two wheels, stay alert, put the phone down to stay alert, obey traffic laws, and watch for one another on the roadways.
