It may feel like fall right now, but mentally prepare for humid conditions to return starting Wednesday as dew points approach or exceed 70°F.

For reference, dew points were between 65°-72°F Sunday prior to the evening storms. Thanks to the US National Weather Service Chicago Illinois office for the explainer graphic!

Tired of radar loops and severe weather risk graphics? Enjoy the early-week break! High pressure provides dry conditions for today and Tuesday with cooler temperatures. The next disturbance will arrive on Wednesday and bring some isolated showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon.

The severe threat seems to be winding down as the last severe thunderstorm warning has expired. The threat is still possible in the extreme SW PA counties and northern WV but the overall threat should be done by 9-10pm.

The storm moving out of Beaver County is showing some concerns for damaging winds. The severe threat will continue for a few more hours. Expect the storms to cross the Pittsburgh area by the 7pm to 7:30pm time frame.

Here's the latest radar update for the developing storms in Ohio and NW Pennsylvania. Expect continued development as storms increase in coverage and strength. A few storms have already produced severe winds in Ohio.
