Memorial Day Parade - May 25, 2026
Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating for our Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 25 so it is with great sadness that we will be cancelling the parade.

A Memorial Ceremony will be held indoors at the American Legion, Neptune Avenue, Moodus at 10:30am.

The American Legion and VFW will still attempt to hold the waterside tribute at 8:30am in the East Haddam Village if it is at all possible.

"We wish for everyone to think of all the brave souls who gave their lives so we could live in freedom. May their sacrifice never be forgotten."

Don't forget to come out and vote. The budget referendum is May 5. Polls will be open from 6:00am to 8:00pm.

Due to the Moodus Drum & Fife Muster Parade on Saturday, October 18th Town Street will be closed from Chestelm to the Grange Hall from approximately 11:45am - 12:30pm. There will be NO access from East Haddam Colchester Turnpike or Orchard Road.
