ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL MONTVILLE RESIDENTS: Please read this heartfelt call to action. MTFAS needs Montville residents now more than ever!

Yesterday, our crew took rig 27🚑 out to the "Touch a Truck" event at the Montville Town Hall. It was a blast to see the community show up and touch a truck!

Are those future Montville FAS EMTs in our rig? They must be! It's always exciting to see how the next generations will come out to serve their communities (hopefully serving with the first aid squad 😊).

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: If you want to serve NOW, you can find the adult membership applications at https://montvillefas.org/. Not yet 18 years old? No need to worry because you can join our educational cadet program where you get to learn all about EMTs and even get to ride on the ambulance by going to that exact same website and looking for "cadets".

The MTFAS hosted Girl Scout Troop 98519 at the squad house this past Monday evening. Safe to say, everyone had a blast learning about the ambulance and what our EMTs do for the community. The girls learned all about the first aid squad and saw some of the equipment we use on calls to complete and acquire their first aid badges! But, of course, their favorite part was seeing the ambulance light up and going inside to see where we take care of our patients.

The town of Montville was kept safe today by our hardworking EMTs at the MTFAS, the police officers at Montville PD, the firemen on standby at Montville Fire Stations, and crews at our public works department. 🚑🚒🚔The Sunday crew ran calls today during the raging snowstorm. 🌨️❄️❄️

👏Lots of appreciation👏 to Bob Hennigan and Rick Gannione for braving the cold to help those in need! Thank you to beloved Montville Township residents for staying inside and staying warm. Know that MTFAS is always here volunteering to assist you and your families during times of need!⚕️🚑⚕️

HUGE shoutout to amazing Montville Township resident Janet Sedlak for cooking our crew a delicious meal to enjoy after a long days worth of work. 🤤😋🍝

Dare to Polar Plunge??? 🥶❄️The MTFAS is standing by and ready for any cold emergencies🚑. Our dedicated members watch over the event with vigilance and warmth. Thank you for those who attended and joined in on the Lake Valhala Polar Plunge on new years day! 🔥

The MTFAS🚑 rides alongside the brave firefighters 🚒 of Montville as they join in the annual Christmas Tree Lighting--December 1st. Sirens sing and lights dazzle red, white, and blue as the Christmas tree and lights blink to life. Horns honk and children laugh as the holiday season starts in Montville.🎄🎁

The MTFAS is proud to be apart of the holiday ceremony and continues to serve the town with joy and compassion.🎉

Our Cadets have been getting the right training! 😄

From vitals to log rolling patients. The MTFAS cadets are continuing their passion for EMS🚑 by learning skills that help the whole crew. Patients can worry less when more competent hands are helping💪!
