Today is a day that will forever live in our memories, a day when so many innocent lives were lost, and a day that has scarred countless people, families, and Americans.

To say “Never Forget” is much more than a phrase; it is measured by our actions and how we carry the memory of those we lost.

The Montville Police Department will NEVER FORGET that day.

Now that it flies, let’s catch bad guys!

The Montville Township Police Department is proud to introduce our new Skydio drone, an exciting new tool that will be used for law enforcement purposes.

Whether it’s searching for a suspect after a “bail out,” looking for a missing person, or providing an aerial perspective during an incident, this drone is equipped with the technology we need to help our officers get the job done.

With an HD camera, infrared capabilities, and ultra zoom, this drone gives our officers an entirely new perspective and valuable capability in the field.

For now, Ptl. Baum, a licensed helicopter pilot, will serve as our primary drone operator while additional officers receive training on this new technology.

We’re excited to add this capability to the Montville Township Police Department and look forward to putting it to work for the Montville community.
