Seasonal programs, events and two summer camps are offered each year. Montvale, NJ is a small borough of approximately 4 square miles ideally situated in the picturesque Pascack Valley of northeastern Bergen County, bordering on New York State. The Borough Recreation Department offers many community events throughout the year with the support of the Special Events Committee such as the “Day in the
Park” celebration held in June, a Holiday Tree Lighting in December, an Egg Coloring in April and a Halloween Carnival in October. Recreation also offers seasonal programs to include Adult Volleyball, Girls Volleyball, Tae-Kwon Do, 18+ and 30+ Basketball, Talkin’ Baseball, Yoga, Sewing, Tennis Instruction as well as Summer Camp! The Borough has four parks encompassing 32 acres of land. The parks offer recreational opportunities that include tennis, basketball, football, baseball, roller hockey, softball and soccer and two playgrounds. The Recreation Department is always striving to deliver the best programs to the residents of Montvale. We are always looking for new programs ideas and people to help run them.
