Flags are flying, Hometown Heroes banners are up, and flowers are beginning to brighten the community as we head into summer.

Honoring our Veterans throughout the City of Montrose. 🇺🇸

Thank you to all who have contributed to the placement of our veteran banners, helping recognize the brave men and women who have served our nation and community with honor and sacrifice.

A special thank you to our City Department of Public Works (DPW), and Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for their teamwork and dedication in helping make this meaningful project possible.

These banners stand as a proud tribute to our local veterans and a reminder that their service will never be forgotten.

The DPW started hanging flags today. 🇺🇸

Next week, our Hometown Hero banners honoring veterans and first responders will be going up, and flowers should be in place before Memorial Day as we get ready for summer in Montrose.

We’re bringing back a fun, curated outdoor market to Downtown Montrose, this time just ONE Saturday each month May–September—and vendor spots are officially filling up!

☀️ June 6 — Summer Kick Off | YOUTH DAY
🇺🇸 July 11 — Red, White & Local
🍯 August 1 — Sip n Shop + Honey B’s 1 YEAR Anniversary 🎉
🎒 Sept 5 — Back to School Bash | YOUTH DAY

📍 Event Details:
🛍 10AM–3PM
⏳ Setup starts at 8AM
🕓 Tear down by 4PM
🌧 Rain or Shine (outdoor event)

💥 Vendor Info:
✔ 10x10 spaces (single 6ft table options available)
✔ ONLY 12–15 vendors per event
✔ ONE vendor per category (no duplicates)
✔ $25 per event

👉 Spots are first come, first served once approved + paid (submitted applications do not guarantee you a spot!)

🚫 Quick Rules:
• No early tear down
• Tents must be weighted
• No smoking/vaping in Market area
• Vendors must clean up their space
