Immerse yourself in local creativity, community, and culture downtown Montrose. Explore the shops and galleries at your own pace, and don't miss out on our art scavenger hunt for a chance to win cash prizes.

You can also join the Public Art Tour at 5:30 PM, starting at City Hall. This curated walk-and-talk features the fascinating stories behind our city's most iconic public installations.

Montrose Art Crawl | June 11 from 4–8 PM

Hidden pieces of art will be placed throughout downtown Montrose, from The Association to LFMG Music Group. Find one and complete the scavenger hunt challenge for a chance to keep the artwork and receive a $10 Montrose Bucks Card.

Here’s how to participate:

• Find a hidden piece of art during the Art Crawl (limit one piece per person).
• Take a photo with the artwork and post the photo to your social media story or feed and tag DART
• Share your photo on the Montrose Art Crawl Event Page.
• Bring your artwork and show your social media post to Jeanette Oslund at the corner of City Hall between 4–8 PM on June 11.

Once you’ve completed all steps, the artwork is yours to keep and you’ll receive a $10 Montrose Bucks Card.

Come enjoy the Art Crawl, support local artists and businesses, and keep your eyes open, you never know where you’ll discover your next piece of art!

CALL FOR ARTISTS: Donate to the Montrose Art Crawl Scavenger Hunt!

Each month during the Montrose Art Crawl, participants search downtown for hidden pieces of art as part of our popular scavenger hunt. We’re looking for up to 20 unique art pieces to be donated for June's hunt!

Donated artwork will not be returned—the lucky participants who find the pieces get to keep them. This is a great opportunity to share your creativity with the community and bring a little surprise and joy to Art Crawl visitors.

Artwork must be submitted by June 9 and delivered to Jeanette Oslund at City Hall.

The scavenger hunt is limited to 20 pieces, so don’t wait—donate your unique piece today!

Round two on the Gunnison 🎣

The New Fly Fisher returned to our home waters last fall to film a brand new episode, and we’re bringing the community together to watch it on the big screen at The Temple Event Center.

If last year was any indication, this is going to be a good one. This episode is a little different, though… and we’re keeping the details under wraps for now.
