Meet Advisory Council Member The Vermont Women's Fund!
"The Vermont Women’s Fund (VWF), a component fund of the Vermont Community Foundation, leverages feminist philanthropy to drive lasting change. Through convening, research, and investment in community-based solutions, VWF advances economic, educational, and social opportunities for women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals across Vermont through strategic partnerships and targeted giving.
Since 1994, VWF has harnessed the power of collective philanthropy to create opportunities for women, girls, and gender-diverse people across Vermont. By bringing together donors, advocates, and community leaders, the Fund supports efforts that strengthen economic security, expand access to opportunity, and address persistent inequities. As Vermont’s largest philanthropic resource dedicated to women and girls, the Fund has invested more than $5 million in organizations and initiatives working to build stronger communities and a more equitable future for all Vermonters.
As women and girls around the world face growing challenges, stories of courage, resilience, and leadership matter more than ever. On September 17, VWF is honored to welcome Shabana Basij-Rasikh, founder of the School of Leadership, Afghanistan (SOLA), to their stage."
